About Me

Farewell, Together began with a friend.

Around ten years ago, she asked if I would help her write the story of her life as she prepared for her own death from terminal cancer. I wasn't quite sure what she meant at the time, but I knew it was important.

As we spent time together, I realised she wasn't just writing her story. She was creating something for the people she loved. She wanted to leave them with memories, conversations and the reassurance that they would be okay.

Walking alongside her changed me. It changed how I think about grief, and it shaped the way I now support others through their own farewells.
